Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter that begins Holy Week. It is the day that we remember and celebrate the day Jesus rode a donkey (symbolizing peace) into Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. A large crowd laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road as they shouted Hosannas. Palm Sunday is a time to reflect on the final week of Jesus’ life and to prepare our hearts for the agony of His Passion and the joy of His Resurrection.
