The past few weeks have been focused on our outside flowers and vegetable gardens. On May 30th, students from Woodbury High School shared their talents with us, as they have done for over 10 years. The last day of school the seniors do a service project, and many choose us. We are so grateful. They do an amazing job. Our past Board Presidents, Bob and Barb Peterson lead the group, and have done so for many years. Biz O’Mara, also on our board, has helped for years as well. Without them Oak Meadows would be a less colorful place.
And on May 31, the tenants here at Oak Meadows planted flowers at both of our entrances. In our backyard we planted herbs, green beans, and tomatoes for our kitchen to use later this summer. Yum, yum!
