Dear Oak Meadows tenants and families,
Greetings everyone! I am happy to say that we do not have any new positive COVID cases at Oak Meadows. The one staff person who was positive is doing very well and is still at home. Yesterday most of our Ponds tenants and Oak Meadows staff were tested for COVID. It will take about a week for us to get the results and I will let everyone know once I have them. If you did not get tested yesterday and you want to be tested, the Walgreens on Larpenteur and White Bear Avenue is offering a drive up testing site. It is best to make an appointment on line at Walgreens.com but you can also go without an appointment if you don’t mind waiting. We may offer another testing date here at Oak Meadows but right now I do not have a date.
Starting Monday, July 20th, we will reopen our exercise room with the NuStep machine. You must call the receptionist desk to reserve a time that you want to use the room. We must have a record of uses for contact tracing and for time to clean the space in between uses. We will provide cleaning supplies and ask each person to wipe down the machine after use. If you have any questions feel free to call me.
In the meantime, we will continue to follow our policies for Oak Meadows based on the MN Department of Health guidelines.
- Wear a mask at all times when out of your apartment.
- Essential visits are the ONLY visits allowed into our building. You may call me to approve an essential visit.
- All visitors, whether inside or outside, must be wearing a mask at ALL times. And must have their temperature checked by our receptionist.
- Please stay away from crowded places or large gatherings.
- Wash your hands frequently.
