Re: IMPORTANT COVID update
Dear Oak Meadows staff, tenants and families,
We have a staff person at Oak Meadows who has tested positive for COVID. At this point we do not have to change our present visitation policies but if we get another positive case in the next two weeks we would have to go back to limited visits.
Tomorrow we will be testing all tenants and staff. We will begin testing with Oak Meadows staff at 8am and then going to all Ponds apartments beginning at 9am. Pines tenants and staff will be tested by the nursing department.
I also want to remind all tenants to please have all of your guests check in at the Pines reception desk before going anywhere else in the building. Everyone must have their temperature taken and sign in before going to any apartments. DO NOT open the Ponds entrance for anyone. No one should be coming in to the Ponds entrance until they have been checked in at the reception desk.
Continue to wear your masks anytime you are out of your apartment, social distance and wash hands frequently. I encourage you to avoid large gatherings as well. Please remember that although most of Oak Meadows has been vaccinated there is still potential for the virus to get in to our building. We must continue to follow all precautions to keep everyone safe.
